As soon as your Gar Wood Securities request is submitted, you will receive a call and two emails from Gar Wood. One email will provide the steps to take to establish your account, The other email provides the link to begin the account application process. . Remember that Gar Wood Securities is an introducing broker for Interactive Brokers, so they will be working together to establish your account.

Once Gar Wood receives the application, they will submit it to IB for approval. This usually takes 24 to 48 hours. If the application is for an entity, it can take 3 to 4 days.

When your account is approved, you will receive an email from Gar Wood providing you with instructions on how to fund your account. Gar Wood will work with Nirvana to activate your funded account for autotrading. This process will usually take 2 business days.

The final step is to set up a password with Nirvana/GXTrader to facilitate automatic trading from OmniFunds to your brokerage account. Gar Wood will send you an email with instructions and link to establish that password. Once completed, you will able to connect the account and start trading with OmniFunds!
